Plans and Projects

*Alleviate the environmental impact caused by previous economic activity  such as logging, mining and ranching.

* Establish an Educational Center in the reserve with the intention of educating a new generation of nature custodians so that this experience can be repeated in other areas impacted by logging and mining activities

Open the gates to the international scientific community who are interested in doing research at MMCNR.

* Work with organizations like the Rotary club an others on the effort to create an International Peace Park in the Big Bend are of Texas, Coahuila and Chihuahua

* Bring and present new alternatives to local communities to establish sustainable economic activities.
 Establish a program of carbon fixation to determine the volumes of this gas being stored in the Maderas forest.

* Monitoring and establishing an inventory of the different ecosystems its dynamics and resources (flora and fauna).

*  Develop a water reservoir network to achieve wild life necessities during the dry season.
